About Us

Tim RenickWelcome to Enrollment Services at Georgia State University. Our mission is to guide and to support students throughout their college experience from pre-admission through graduation. If you are a student, our goal is simple: to promote your success.

Through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, we hope to facilitate your smooth entry into the University. Through the Enrollment Services Center and the Office of Financial Aid, we seek to get you registered for the classes that you need and to help you apply for financial support to pay for your education. The Office of Student Retention, the University Advisement Center and Undergraduate Studies offer a wide array of programs ranging from Freshmen Learning Communities to Supplemental Instruction to allow you to succeed academically. The Graduation Office helps to facilitate your transition from student to degree-holding graduate, and the Registrar’s Office maintains your academic records, supplies transcripts, and provides other services, both while you are at Georgia State and in the years beyond graduation.

Students are our top priority, and Enrollment Services is dedicated to empowering you to make effective choices. From the time of your first campus visit to the completion of your degree, we want to help. I hope that you will take a few minutes to explore these pages to discover the rich resources that are available to you at Georgia State University. Our Registrar pages, for instance, feature helpful videos outlining instruction about registering for classes and other enrollment processes. Our Student Success pages provide links to many of the tutoring and other academic support services that are available on campus. Our Scholarship pages provide information on dozens of scholarships that you may be eligible to pursue.

We strive to be friendly and supportive, but we’re only human. If you have a problem, concern or complaint about any of the offices in Enrollment Services, I maintain a complaint line through which you can contact my office directly. The feedback link is accessible via the Enrollment Services menu in the top left on web pages throughout the division. All of the units in Enrollment Services are supervised by and report to the Office of the Vice Provost.

Should you have any questions, concerns or comments, please feel free to contact my office at 404-413-2575 or by email.

I wish you much success in your studies.

Timothy M. Renick
